WELCOME!

My name is Megan Lorusso.  I am a wife, mother, artist and business owner in Charlotte, NC by way of Upstate New York.

I cannot adequately express how fortunate I feel to have the privilege of sharing my art and my story.  My hope and prayer is that the stigma surrounding Mental Illness is eliminated and love prevails.

victory - summer order.jpg

My sweet friend called one day and told me "I need you to paint something for my son's room. I don't know exactly what to tell you. I want a ship - like an old pirate ship, but not a pirate ship. I want it to be crashing through waves, like it's in a storm." We had a couple conversations about size and media (she chose a 48x36" canvas) and I got to work. After a couple attempts, something felt wrong. I sent my friend a message and asked "Who is winning? The storm or the ship?" She replied, "the ship should definitely win." And so "Victorious" came to be!
