This 24x24" piece was created with broken crayons on a Gesso-Primed, Gallery-wrapped canvas and has a matte varnish to preserve it's integrity. The colors and texture were intentionally chosen to represent that polarization of moods for those who suffer from Bipolar Disorder. As always, the symbolism of the broken crayons and the semicolon serve as another reminder that there is still hope and purpose for those who battle mental illness.
Although the pieces created with melted crayons are sealed for protection, they should be handled with care. These pieces should not be placed in direct sunlight or in environments with extreme heat. Pressing directly on canvas may result in cracks or chips in the artwork. Please handle with care.
